Fees At Last, Fees At Last! -- Chris || Post in the forum

Er... I mean free at last.

It's February, and we all know what that means. It's time to celebrate Black History Month in the entire 28 (or 29) days that this month has to offer. Ever since about 1926, we Americans have acknowledged the black people by having something called, "Negro History Week", followed by the tried and true "Black History Month" after we silly white people realized that calling it "Negro History Week" wasn't all that nice, nor was it long enough to fit all of the historic African Americans into that time period. You would think that if they changed the name of it, they would also make Black History Month take place in a month other than February because it's so short. It might have something to do with racial profiling.

Black History Month is a time where we Americans (And, of course, African Americans) take the time to realize the amount on influence that African Americans have had on our nation ever since the Revolutionary War way back sometime in the year of our Lord. From Dr. King, to Al Sharpton, to Bubb Rubb and Lil' Sis, they've all had their share of time in the spot light in making this nation a better place for all African Americans living within these fine borders.

Bubb Rubb Likes Celebrating Black History Month

As of late, however, there has been a little something called "racial profiling" going on in our society which not many people like, especially Mr. "Future President" Sharpton and Mr. Rev. Jackson. I for one cannot stand such act of injustice, and am prepared to do something about it. I was thinking about sitting in the middle of a bridge somewhere to block traffic so everyone will have to listen to me or maybe just sitting on train tracks and not get up until people start listening.

Just taking a looking around in the news everyday makes me want to sit on some bridge in New York City and make people listen. The Space Shuttle Columbia bursting into flames and crashing, the "Slammer" worm going around the internet, and even Michael Jackson, who isn't related to the Mr. Rev. Jesse Jackson, and who also isn't sure what color his skin really is, coming under siege for trying to be loving to little kids by letting them sleep in his bed are all examples of racial profiling hard at work.

If we do not put an end to this injustice known only as "Racial Profiling", things could get quite ugly in the future when Mr. "Future President" Sharpton runs for president of the United States and doesn't win. Can you imagine the riots that will follow his defeat? The only reason why he may lose that election will be because all of America is raciest and hate anyone who is not white and has lots of money. (You know, like every white person has large amounts of money lying around to some how use against Sharpton in an election.)
