Children, adults, and tv lose peaceful hero -- Jon || Post in the forum

Fred Rogers, host of one of tv's most beloved shows, Mr.Rogers Neighborhood died early this morning at home after suffering from stomach cancer since being diagnosed during the holidays.
 | | Thanks for being our neighbor. |
Rogers, who helped children overcome fear, share, deal with anger, and took his viewers on magical trips to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe ended the show in August of 2001, but PBS continued to air repeats the old episodes keeping his presence alive during the hours of childrens programming in the morning. Final thoughts, Thanks for being our neighbor Mr.Rogers. You'll be terribly missed.
